Sorry for my english but I try….. because it´s very important!!!!!
FIRST! Thanks for come to play in CHILE for first time the next october 2010….
Sadly the ticket for your concert is too expensive this cost $85.000 pesos , this price is nearly 2/3 of minimum salary here in Chile!…..it´s a big problem because the music producer called “Transistor” doesn´t want to change this price… they have a monopoly of the concert..
Please do something for people like us ( with no much money) can go to the concert…
I hope that you read this…thank rage against the machine!

Trusting that you guys will read this message, as I and all your fans in Chile believe in you fight for justice for everyone, I write in behalf of the thousands of Chilean people who love your music and what it represents.
We've been waiting for years to have you here and finally last week the good news came. However, happiness didn’t last for long as we found out the RIDICULOUSLY EXCESSIVE prices for the tickets. As it is now being common in concerts, there is a general fee and a VIP area. Prices for the first tickets are equal to 1/4 of Chilean people’s average monthly wage; VIP tickets are twice as expensive.
As you can imagine, these prices make it impossible for most people to attend to your concert, and the separation of general and VIP area means that only a bunch of privileged and wealthy people will actually have the opportunity to see the band, while the rest of us will only get to see you guys on the screens.
We are organizing through various social media, and steps have been taking in the applicable Consumer Defense agency, but answers, if any, will come too late.
I hope you guys read this and sympathize with the situation we are going through.

First of all, thank you for coming to Chile for the first time ever. You have a huge fanbase in this country and we would all be very excited about the concert if it wasn't for the exceedingly expensive ticket prices. It is ridiculous that in a country with a monthly minimum wage of 165.000 pesos the cheapest ticket for a Ratm concert is as expensive as 38.500 pesos. Not even bands like U2 charge this much. Also, judging by the lyrical content of most of Ratm's songs I find it almost amusing that you could watch Bono or Madonna for much less money. It's stupid and contradictory that only privileged people can afford going to a socialist band's concert, and this in one of the most economically unjust countries in the world.

Please, if there is anything you could possibly do to help us, do it. :D

where has been gone all the speech?, where is the action against the machine?... for shure zach know something about chile, he has come to visit our country, but the prices for your show here, are insane, they are 2 prices, $76.45 and 152.09$... that can make a salary here. Now i think that the guerrilla radio is off... (and that is without mention about the earthquake),im glad that the band come to get richest in chile.

I have to reinforce how awesome was the RATM concert in Brazil and for the best time I ever had in a Rock'n'Roll concert. Despite the sound failed 3 times while the band was playing, I have to admit: the band performance was impeccable and they played all the songs we wanted to listen, making people like me achieve the highest level of spiritual energy. I think the concert could take a little longer and that the event organization could be better, so there wouldn't be interruptions and a crowd pushing like the one I experienced in the beginning of the concert. Another point that I would like to express is that Zack referred to the MST as a movement that follows his ideas, but most people in the MST are criminals who are hiding themselves or using the movement to promote violence against the society, so you should take care when referring to movements like the MST. However, I support all your fight against oppressive governments and the poverty that many nations around the world have gone through and I'll be always fighting for a better world with you guys, so I try to make all my friends aware of what needs to be done to preserve nature and to respect other people's rights. Thanks RATM, never stop the fight and LET'S TAKE THE POWER BACK!
